Ever since being a kid, I was hooked on creating and building things - be it in the sandbox, with lego or fischertechnik, I could spend hours and days in my room creating crazy stuff. Nowadays I can spend similar amounts of time on storyboards, brainstorming or designs when at work, as well as playing the piano, taking photos or having talks and discussions with friends when off.
With increasingly complex technology providing amazing possibilities, it has never been more crucial to make it accessible to the average person. So I try empathizing with the people I design for the best I can, to turn technology into a tool that helps them solve problems they face in their everyday lives.
I think there’s just something awesome about teams - you will end up with ideas you would have never come up on your own, you (almost) never get stuck and you will be much less afraid of failing. If I really want a project to succeed, I’d want to do it in a motivated team.
This is where I took my first steps in design. I was all about getting to know how things work at an agency, learning a lot about drawing and the job of an Industrial Designer.
An awesome school which teaches design in the context of solving problems methodically. I learned how to present things, work in a team and apply design methods within projects. Graduated with a 1.2
Together with my fellow student Frederic Myers I started Jery, an UX agency. We worked for various clients (medical sector, startup and automotive) and learned a lot about dealing with clients and customers, organizing workloads and how to get a design business up and running.

During my internship i worked in an agile, rapidly growing software development team for a SaaS desktop application of a leading reinsurance company. I was responsible for the UX of a new software module that received great customer feedback after release.
Together with 2 fellow students and a 16-year-old Programmer, we developed MashUp, a application that enables musicians to co-create songs together easily and quickly on their phone. We grew the team to 6 people in total, hosted demo-events via zoom with 15+ musicians to test our app, participated in an accelerator program and were awarded the Exist Scholarship from the federal ministry of economy.
